One of the projects of The Research Center for Crimes of Anfal and Genocide is visiting the sufferers of Anfal and other crimes committed against humanity. The incidents are narrated by the sufferers themselves. They have pictures, videos and other evidences of the crimes committed against them. So, the Research Center for Crimes of Anfal and Genocide collects and documents all the evidences of the crimes that happened above 30 years ago. After collecting the data, our center attempts to investigate the cases and do scientific research on them.

1.1 The aim of the visit

One of the goals and top priority jobs of the Research Center for Crimes of Anfal and Genocide

the crimes of Genocide and Anfal that were committed  is documenting

against the Kurdish Nation and humanity. These crimes can be collected by doing interviews.

1.2 The victim's background

This woman was born in 1953. Approximately 20 of her relatives have been the victims of Anfal.

1.3   The Interview.

First of all, we informed the survivor about the purpose and aim of our visit and explained that his information will be used in our investigations and research and he agreed to do the interview. Our interview started with a few questions about the survivor's life before the incidents and their jobs and their income. After that, we asked him about the crimes of Anfal: what happened? How many people died? Where did it happen?

The interview took more than an hour. Then he thanked us and believed that having a center like this is a great step towards identifying Anfal and other crimes that were committed against Kurdish.

2.1 The second interview

                              2.2 The victim's background

Our team interviewed another woman. She was born in 1953. Her husband, her brother and sisters have been victims of Anfal. She was one of the survivors of (Nugra Salman) prison and was imprisoned there for about 7 months.

2.3 The interview

She talked about all the suffering and hardship she witnessed and went through in that prison. In addition, her daughter talked to us as well. She mentioned that her husband was one of the victims of Anfal. But, she was able to escape with her children from the military place where they had been captured. At the end of the interview, they thanked us and appreciated our attempt for investigating the cases of Anfal and Genocide.
